This just in. Will be taking delivery on Thursday evening. Salesman just sent pictures and video of truck arriving on the trailer and being unloaded. Great customer experience! Ask for Brandon. I have no affiliation just an idiot off the street.

Just curious once a truck is given a real VIN from a preproduction VIN, how long does it take to get built and shipped to the dealer.

I ordered a black Platinum on 12/29 and have yet to confirm build date. I have inquired about the “quality hold” for Platinums and 1794 in Chicago and impact on delivery resulting from the 50% reduction in production at San Antonio plant. My dealership doesn’t seem to have any answers other than they received training on the turbo issues and it’s “not a big deal and only impacts a small amount of trucks”.

I’m not 100% on the reduced production still being in place. Quick update, my dealership did confirm my truck is being built tomorrow (2/17). They haven’t provided a delivery timeframe after the build which leads me to believe it may get caught up in the quality inspections for a few weeks.

I did. My truck is set to arrive at the dealership in central Ohio between 3/9-3/14
