Tire Cloud Sky Wheel Car

Tim Esterdahl from Pickup Truck + SUV Talk posted a video about a fuel economy test he did with his Tundra Limited.

He was able to get 24.52 mpg on his trip! Which is better than what the EPA rates the Tundra Limited (22 mpg), especially in the winter!

Is anyone getting similar mileage like this?

I live in a mountainous area with plenty of curves and gradient changes and I’m getting around 14-15 mpg. The few trips I’ve made with interstate travel, it did improve to 20 mpg. One problem I have is staying out of the turbos, the power is nice!

I am still under 1000 miles (recommended break-in/baby it time frame), live on a very steep hill and only drive like 10 miles a day max, and all city. With all that info I have yet to break 14mpg on the lifetime average indicator. This is with driving like a granny more often than not so I am not thrilled yet but I hope after the break in it gets better. I have a trip this weekend that should put a couple hundred miles on it at most so that should give me a better sample.
