Many new 2022 Tundra owners have been reporting problems with the 3.5-liter V-6 turbocharged engine, specifically the waste gate for the turbos. Toyota says the part “basically helps control the exhaust flow around the turbo turbine. It can help control boost pressure for the turbo.”

Trucks under 500 miles on the odometer have this issue and when it happens, it needs to be serviced immediately. Unfortunately Toyota has been having supply issue, dragging on the turn around time, further adding to the frustration.

Curious to know if anyone here had this issue or are going through it at the moment.
